We even introduced incentives in the hopes of increasing their motivation. However, in practice, things don\u2019t work out as anticipated. The attendance rate is low for the people who need the training the most, and in the end, the attendees are dominated by travel-lovers and language enthusiasts.<strong> The ones who are absent from the training make excuses, saying that they are too busy, that the timing is bad, and that English would be useless for them.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How can we help employees to motivate themselves to become more global?<\/p>\n<h4>Our Approach:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Firstly, we will abolish in-office English classes, focusing instead on motivating each student by teaching them \u2018why English is important,\u2019 \u2018what kind of study methods are available,\u2019 and \u2018how to learn consistently\u2019. <\/strong>We implement an online conversational English learning strategy in which the students will randomly receive a phone call, as well as presentation and global business training.<\/p>\n<h4>The Results:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Many employees began to work on their English independently by using free learning material and cheap apps, instead of solely relying on their company\u2019s help.
