The Challenges

Demonstrating full potentials no matter where you are.

For employees who are assigned to a new post abroad, the period between assignment and transfer can be very short, making it difficult to do proper pre-training. We want to provide the necessary preparations for employees who are being assigned overseas, even if they have little to no management experience in a foreign business environment.

Our Approach:

We conduct a pre-transfer training program focused on global-mindset and management skills, as well as providing personal assessments in order for the students to understand their own behavioral and personality characteristics. This way students can discover the management techniques and styles that match them best.

The Results:

Employees who are assigned to an overseas post will have a better understanding of key social and work-culture differences, including the individual traits of their colleagues, that they should expect to encounter while overseas. By teaching them how to work with all kinds and levels of managers and fellow coworkers, and providing support even after their transfer, employees will be able to further increase their skills and confidence in a foreign environment.

We have noticed that there is a visible difference between employees who were assigned to a post overseas before this new style of pre-transfer training and after, especially regarding their overall management performance.
